The Wood House is situated at ‘Northbrook Waters’, Rangiora, and has views to the water ski lake. Owners and visitors frequently comment that ‘being in the house makes you feel you are on holiday – nowhere near Christchurch’. The brief – a ‘retreat where you feel like you are on holiday’ – was obviously met. The wall cladding is Oamaru and schist stone.
