The Brief
Nick and Helen wanted to design and build a replacement for their earthquake damaged home without having a repeat of their last building experience, where dealing with the ‘wrong builder’ ended in years of litigation. As keen entertainers, they wanted a home that showcased a beautifully designed kitchen with feature rimu ceilings. To compliment the kitchen, they wanted to accentuate the exposed and handmade trusses for the interior of the home.

Paul Reed Homes introduced Nick to a designer who mapped out his vision to a T, and identified the faults in the original plans that needed to be rectified.

Bringing expertise and systems into each fortnightly meeting with Nick helped us to build a personal relationship with trust that made the building of his home a tailored and efficient process.
